Pet Pic Contest!

This is possibly my favorite picture, ever. This was taken several years back, when Delaney was just a baby. Leo adored her. And the feeling was mutual. Of course, they got along better when Delaney was asleep...

Unfortunately, this past weekend Leo disappeared. He's a strictly inside cat and I have no idea how he got out, or where he went. The kids and I went around putting posters up, I've run ads in the papers, and made obsessive calls to the Humane Society, to no avail. We've covered a lot of ground in our search. The kids are crushed. Losing a pet is hard.

Hopefully, he will turn up soon.

Oh, no--poor Leo! My kitties are indoor too and I always worry about them getting out. Have you tried leaving food out? My dad's cat was missing for about a week and followed a food trail back to his house, hopefully he will turn back up soon! Sorry to hear that. What a precious picture that is!
Thanks so much for stopping by, I wondered where ya were!

OH no!!! I'm so sorry to hear that. We had a dog that disappeared like that once while we are camping. Can you believe he ran the several hundred miles home somehow? Hopefully Leo will turn up soon!!

So sorry. They're so ill-prepared for the outdoors when this happens. Let's pray that he just wandered into you bushes and will come out within a day or two wondering where the food is and why haven't you had it ready!

How sweet is that?! Our puppy thinks that my 7 year old is another puppy...so Andy gets lots of nips. My 10 year old, Ben, has been getting humped by the pup. He called me in the other night and said...check it out mom, look at this crazy thing he is doing to my arm. Ben had no idea what the motion meant:) Pets are funny things for sure. Sooo glad you came by today. HOlly

Oh come back Leo!!!

That is an adorable picture!

I've had indoor cats get out from time to time and they have always come back. Go outside and shake or tap a food can. That usually brings 'em home running.

Got my fingers crossed!

That is a beautiful picture, which must make you feel very sad right now to look at. I hope your cat is returned safe and sound. My fingers are crossed too.

have your neighbors check their garages and stuff. when my (indoor) cat was escaped for a few days, my neighbors (thankfully) found her in their detached garage.

hope you find her.

Oh no! I'm so sorry! I know how that feels. When I got married, my cat ran away because of my husband's dog. I loved that cat so much. She was so sweet. I hope you find him sooo soon!!

What a cute picture. They are both adorable. Cats are resilient, and smart too. He can find his way. Keep the faith.
