Kid quotes

Nick:

"Mom?"
"Yes?"
"When I'm grown up and have a wife, we are going to have Happy Meals for lunch everyday."

"I have a lot of memories in my head. I wish I could get them all out."

Delaney:

Said while dumping rocks out of her shoes...
"I have earth in my shoes!"

Watching me change the sheets on my bed.
"Did you pee in your bed?" she asks.
"No...daddy has been really sick and got hot and sweaty at night, so I'm just putting fresh sheets on."
"Oh...do you get hot and sweaty in bed, too?"

Umm...

So what exactly was your answer to that last question?!?

I wish I could get all the memories out of my head too, this ongoing case of Momnesia is giving me a lot of issues in my life :-)

Hot and sweaty is the best! That needs to be quoted in someone's speech at her wedding. ;)

embarrassing 'parent quote' :

this is probably inappropriate, even for here, but i accidently asked my daughter what was up with her mushroom head last night. thankfully shes eleven and knew i was only referring to her weird ponytail... but the fiancee laughed so hard from the other room that i thought he was gonna have a stroke while i struggled to keep a straight face, albeit a very red one.

I'm not too keen on Happy Meals, but a prize every day might be nice :)

Those are great! My son says he's not getting a wife so he doesn't have to share Happy Meal toys. Oh my.

Those are great! My boy isn't talking too much yet, but I loved to hear that my friend's 2 year old girl asked, "Mommy, why are we going to the bathroom in a trash can?" when she was using a port-a-potty for the first time!
