Doctor, doctor give me the news...

I'm not feeling very witty or entertaining today...my head hurts for like the 30th day in a row. Sometimes they develop into full blown migraines (like yesterday, when I was pretty sure I was going to die) but sometimes they just ache enough to remind me that they're there and they hate me and they're doing their damndest to make my life miserable. I take migraine meds that I hate because they make my face and neck feel really, really weird and they make it hard to open my mouth. Strange, no? I think so. It's probably some rare and deadly side effect that I should tell someone about. Any doctors out there?? No? Nurses? No? Has anyone ever played doctor? Taking all advice...

I've spent the last hour trying to catch up on reading blogs and commenting and responding to comments. It's really hard to keep up. Blogging could easily be a full time job. If you comment, I always try to respond via email (if your email is listed in your profile-if not, then you're missing out on my terribly witty comment responses) and then I head to your blog to read the latest post and comment there as well. Anyone have a better way of dealing with that? I always feel so bad when I can't respond or I fall behind. I want everyone to know that I do try and READ even if I can't respond or if I don't comment. And if you follow me, I try to follow you. If there is anyone out there that I'm not following, please let me know. Because I have three kids. I'm not as bright as I once was...the wheel is spinning, but the hamster is dead... if I had another brain, it would be lonely...sharp as a marble...give me a penny for my thoughts and you'd get change...not the quickest bunny in the forest...

You get the idea.

It seems like I had a point when I started this post, but I sure can't remember what it was. Hmmm. Pity. It was probably very important. Maybe I'll remember in the morning.

Feel better! Headaches are seriously the worst. They keep you from functioning. And with three kiddos, I can only imagine that you don't have time for headaches.

Those side effects... yeah. A little strange... lol. You might want to get that checked out ;)

Oh, I hope you feel better soon. I hate migraines. A friend told me that apple cider vinegar + soda water helps. You can google it, although I haven't tried it myself. {{hugs}}

Headaches are the worst! How do you still manage to be witty? I would be a mess!

Peace and quiet would probably be my prescription but since we know that is not happening...run and hide! We won't tell (-'

Feel better!

Oh I know how it is to suffer terrible headaches. It is my weakness for sure. I usually take two advil, two tylenol and a large cup of strong coffee before they get too bad.

Hope you are feeling better soon!!

i don't know if they're migraines but i get those ugly, nasty, dirty-type of headaches that throb. the only thing i've found to kick them is excedrin migraine.

worked for me when tylenol, motrin won't.

hope you feel better soon. **hug**

Ugh, headaches suck and migraines suck more! Trust me, I know! I know I'm the psycho anti-dairy girl, but try it. That is how I found out I was allergic to dairy, going to like 50 different doctors, everyone giving me medicine to mask the problem and finally one doc said to get rid of dairy and poof, they went away! Just a thought...

But feel better, they really do suck butt!

I'm so sorry about your migraines they can sure put a gal down. Dr. Oz the other day suggested putting a little cayenne pepper on a swab or toothpick and sniffing it to get rid of the head~bangers. It sounds very painful to me but he said it opened up the blood vessels that contract during the headaches. You might check out his websight.

Take care of yourself and feel better!!!!

I'm sad your head hurts. My sis has had chronic migraines since the birth of child #2 - 23 years ago. Sucks! Conquering a blog schedule is hard. I'm playing with a new plan. No blogging on weekends. I prepare a Sunday awards post (if I get any) during the week. I post it...but no commenting or reading blogs during weekends. On Mondays I try to read everyone I Follow. Tuesdays Charisse reads who comes to visit us, and I work on new material. Wednesdays I try to read everyone I follow again. Thursdays & Fridays I read who came to visit us. I'm thinking about changing to a 3 day a week posting schedule. Do you ever feel relieved when someone takes days off from posting? Even if I like what they do...it is just hard to keep up with it. oh migraines, i'm sorry. boy do they suck beyond words. i get them fairly frequently and now i get them after i exercise hard! lovely. i was on meds for them but I stopped (why, again? i don't know.) but anyhoo. they make me want to close the door of my room and go to bed with everything off and closed.

i'm sorry you have them. i have a partial home remedy if you're interested. it involves uncooked rice and a sock. preferably clean. Take a long tube sock, fill it with the rice and tie the end in a knot. heat the rice sock in the microwave and the rice retains the heat so well that when you put in on your head it helps ease the pain of migraines a little. just something i do. not a doctor! :) take care!

I get overwhelmed with blogging sometimes, too, but I have really grown to love it.

I have suffered from migraines since I was 11, I no longer take the presciption meds because I hate the side effects. I take a vicodin when I feel one coming on, and cross my fingers. Hope you feel better soon :)

I know what you mean about the blogging thing taking over. Heck I have trouble and I don't even have half as many followers as you! I try and comment on those that comment, and I make comments on those I follow/read, but I don't have a quick solution for you.

You're in good company! I've been sick for a week and I'm getting way behind in reading and commenting.

I hope you feel better soon!

I've never had a migraine but I can only imagine how awful they are.

I do relate to your commenting issues though. I wish it was easier to keep up!

I'm the same way with commenting and responding. It can be exhausting! Here's my gift to you - you don't have to respond to me, I know you read the comments and enjoy them and appreciate them. I won't be offended not to get an email response, honest. I heart you that much!
