Flashback Friday! Snow!

Since yesterday we saw the first snowflakes of the season, I decided that I would dig up a few photos of one of larger storms we've had. These were taken about 6 years ago and it was awesome...My husband and I didn't have to go to work for four days because we couldn't get down the road.

Of course, now that we have kids, that whole "trapped-at-the-house" thing might not be as much fun...

Oh WOW... that's incredible!! We have had snowstorms like that here a few times too. They're cool, as long as you don't have to go out in them!!

Great pics. Thanks for sharing.
And thanks for all my comment love!! You're so awesome!!!

That's a lot of snow! It doesn't snow here in the Philippines, but the last time I saw snow was when I spent Christmas with my relatives in the States when I was 15.Ü

Ok, I'm not complaining about the rain we have today anymore.

Snow already? Yikes! We're still enjoying 75 degree weather here. Please keep your snow there, please...

Wow! I've only experienced snow once, almost 5 years ago now. It was so much more beautiful than I had ever expected. You see it on tv and think oh that's kinda kewl, but when you see it in real life, Wow! The gentle floating of the snowflakes, the way it blankets and mutes everything, the ballet the cars do on the road cause they are all driving so slowly... it was so surreal to me.

Still, I couldn't imagine living in a place where you could get snowed in for 4 days, I'm sorry but *@#! that.

Wow, I can't believe you're getting snow already! I enjoy the snow and I have a lot of good memories from back when I was a kid - especially playing football in the snow. Lots of fun!

Thanks for reminding me why we left the midwest. We lived through the snowstorm of the century in Chicago and I don't want to do that again.
