Let me count the ways...

And so ends the second week of kindergarten...

How's it going? Well, let's see.

Last Friday Nick got off the bus near tears.

Trying not to panic, I rush over to him.

"Nick! What's wrong?"

Gasp. Sniffle.

"The teacher said..."

Dramatic pause.

"I can't go back to school for two more days!"

I have yet to break it to him that this weekend it is actually three days.

Lol, that is just to cute! When reading about him crying I started thinking oh no something bad happened. So much better to hear, he enjoys school so much, that he doesn't want miss any days.
I think you might want to hand him some ice cream right before you break it to him about the third day.

How cute! I'm so glad he likes school. That will make a big difference later on down the road.

Wow, that's amazing!! I'm so happy that he loves school so much! If only all kids loved it that much. Teachers would have a much easier job! Keep up the good mommy work!!

I am so glad he is loving school!! Such a relief. I honestly can't even begin to imagine my daughter going to Kinder next year. I think I'll be a bucket of tears!

Aww, poor Nick. It's awesome that he likes it so much. :)

School starts back up here on Wednesday, and there's distinctly less enthusiasm being shown at my house. Being jaded by the age of five can't bode well, I'm sure.

I hope he keeps his enthusiasm up for the next 12 years!LOL

That is adorable! My two older children (14 and 11 years old) have loved school since that age and continue to feel positive about it, so I think you're on a right road!
