You know I LOVE your cakes! I just popped over there and I could have sworn I signed up to follow? My brain must have been on auto that day! Anyway, following you over there now too! Your guitar cake turned out fantastic. Do you just freehand it when you cut out the shapes? That seems like it would be one of the most difficult parts!

This cake is awesome! I wish I could make something so fabulous, my round cakes come out lopsided.

Thank you for all the great compliments! It's good for my ego! ;) I was actually pretty happy with the way this one turned out!

Momma Such...nope. The feathery stuff isn't edible, just a length of fabric I got at Michaels. It would be so cool to be able to make something like that edible. Hmmm. Might have to think on that!

Michelle-Yes, I freehand it, which is the scariest part! I swear I stand over it, poised with knife in my hand, staring at it for a good 20 minutes before I get the nerve to cut! But I always tell myself I can just make another cake if I have to... :)

One Chic Mommy-Actually my round cakes come out lopsided also! When you carve you can cut off all the crooked parts and no one will ever know! ;)
